Palms Place Hotel

This morning I checked out of the hotel. Overall, my stay was very good and I truly enjoyed the property. Unfortunately, my checkout experience was not positive. While standing in line, I approached the counter after my colleague finished. Natasha greeted me by saying, “I’m not ready for you, I need a minute.” The tone felt abrupt and unwelcoming. Since I was simply checking out, I left my keys on the counter and proceeded to leave. I later decided to return to request her name so I could provide feedback in the hope that it may be used for training and service improvement. When I approached again, I looked for her name in her name badge. When I approached her she gave me her name with sarcasm. I felt she was curt with her behavior. Positive: I love the nice view and how clean it was. Overall, I love how it provides dishware to cook on the stove and how you have many options near the hotel far a wine dine, pool, movie theater and food place located near hotel without having to go too far. Negative: I loved everything about this place I would diffidently book again will be my other home

The hotel had great reviews online. I was genuinely excited for my stay here. But when we arrived, the place lacked proper maintenance. Everything seemed dirty. In addition to this, the room smelled weird for some reason. I would only rebook this place if I had no other options. I didn't explore the rest of the amenities, but the room left a lot to be desired.

First of all we booked a room with a balcony. Did not receive a room with a balcony. Front desk explained I will have to sort it with the “host” as the room is privately owned. We stayed 1 night (about 14 hours) and only slept in the room as we were briefly transiting through Las Vegas. 4 days later and we still have not received the security deposit which has now been confirmed and no longer a “pending” transaction. The host said we would receive it within 1-3 business days. Called Palms place for them to inform in a rude manor that I won’t receive it for at least 10 business days. Every other hotel we have stayed at has returned the security deposit instantly after the room was checked. On a positive - the room itself was large with adequate amenities and nice views.

This property, specifically Room 310 on the 30th floor at Palms Place, is an outright scam from start to finish.||I booked this room back in November and was charged immediately, despite our stay not being until January. That should have been the first red flag. Upon arrival, we were then hit with a $150 “cleaning fee” that was never disclosed upfront. Paying an undisclosed fee just to access a room that was supposedly “clean” is insulting — especially considering what we walked into.||The room was filthy. And I don’t mean lightly used — I mean dirty, neglected, and clearly not maintained.||This room advertises fully working amenities.
