Room 114. The air conditioner was spewing moldy-smelling air. The carpet not only had not been vacuumed, it looked like it had never been cleaned. The furniture was worn and dated. The walls were thin. At midnight we considered just leaving and driving on through the night. Instead we stayed for a couple of hours of sleep and then left at 5:00 a.m. Don't stay here. It's the worst place we have ever stayed, bar none.

First of all 0 stars. The place was so awful. The bedding look like they didn't wash or change them. The furniture was so chipped to the point it looked like rodents was gnawing on it.

I'm from Florida, and was on vacation in NC for New Years. I was only there for a day, and had an emergency situation where I had to get home asap! Airport had no flights to FL until the next day so I decided to rent a car, and start driving. As if things couldn't get worse, the rental then got a flat tire somewhere in SC! Had to wait a while for roadside asst. to get to me, and by the time he got the donut on it was already 2am. I decided to crash at the nearest hotel for the night which happened to be this Knights Inn. The manager was excellent! A really nice guy who got me set up in a room with no problems. He even overhead me talking about how since I left in such a hurry that I forgot my phone charger, and was kind enough to let me have a spare one that he had! The next morning I had

This place is a dump! Filthy carpet, blood stains on the ceiling, nasty threadbare towels, no knob to adjust the A/C, gum in the peephole, dirty sheets and pillowcases...you get the picture. No wifi and barely any cell service. The place was packed with hurricane evacuees. Since everyone was in the same boat, at least the atmosphere was friendly. Otherwise, it could have been a scary place.||||We stayed one night (one night too many) and then got out as quickly as possible. Do yourself a favor and pass this place by. It just doesn't get any worse!

We evacuated Charleston to stay here and I'm pretty sure that a tree falling through my roof would have been a better situation than staying in this hotel. The first thing I did when I got there was to go get clean sheets and towels at Walmart because the bed and towels were so gross. I didn't take my flip flops off the whole time because the carpet was so gross. I killed a few bugs too. I risked going back to the hurricane rather than starting another night.
