Hampton Inn Manning

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Right off the interstate and near a good handful of restaurants, fast food paces and a few gas stations. If I'm in this area again traveling I would definitely stay again.

We had a reservation on our way back home from the Christmas holiday. When we checked in the front desk staff was less than cordial to say the least , but now a days I expect attitudes. However when we entered our room it was not what we expected. The floors and carpet were filthy so much so we couldn’t take our socks off. There was dirt build up by the toilet and shower. The pillows were like sleeping on mashed potatoes. I literally checked the bedding for bugs which led to an uncomfortable night’s sleep. |We did stay on our way down at the Home2 suites in Lumberton and that experience was outstanding. This management in Manning could take a lesson from the management in Lumberton.

My son and I stayed here during our recent visit to South Carolina. The women at the front desk when we checked in were friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is clean. Beds are comfortable and worth the money. Breakfast selection is good and of course the all day coffee is excellent. The location is nice with a quiktrip next door and many places to eat in the area. :)

Positive: The location and staff were great! Not sure if i would revisit due to the room condition with the insects. Negative: Yes, the room had roaches. When asked about spraying i was told that they had no spray, but that management would be notified. They apologized, But because the hotel was full, there was no other other vacancies.

I stopped at this hotel at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025. I had been driving for hours from New Jersey, completely exhausted, with my 5-year-old child in the car. When I arrived, the front desk receptionist told me the system was down and would take about two hours to come back online. Because of that, she said she could not check me in and suggested that I try the hotel next door. P.S and… to make my life more difficult, he said that if I had booked online I would have to wait until 3 pm to check in, thank God I didn't Anyways… I immediately told her that I wasn’t going to stay at the run-down place next door, which looked unsafe and surrounded by people of questionable behavior. I explained that I had a young child in the car, I wasn’t going to risk that environment, and that I
