While planning my trip to Miami, I was excited to stay at Palm Tree Club Hotel. The vibrant atmosphere, exterior design, and waterfront restaurant initially attracted me. A hotel staff member told me check-in was at 4 PM. Since I had an early flight, I asked about checking in around 1 PM and was told I could come early to see if a room was available, otherwise they could hold my luggage, which I understood. I arrived around 2 PM and was told to come back at 4 PM. The lobby looked newly renovated and smelled clean. My partner and I waited at the restaurant, which wasn’t busy. Service was quick, the waterfront view was beautiful and relaxing, and the food was decent. The menu options ranged $20-$45. When we returned to check in at 4 PM, we waited in line about 15 minutes only to be told to
Location, location, location. I actually rented this room due to its proximity to the Miami Cruise port. (six minutes away.). It most certainly is in an ideal location, directly on the water, has a very nice pool area that overlooks the water (they have a little umbrella cart set up with free sunblock, towels, and a water station) and an attached restaurant/bar area with a lovely view. I did eat in the bar, chicken tenders and a margarita and my bill was about $50. The food and service were good. My check-in to the hotel was easy and the staff was friendly, but I think the thing that is lacking here is maintenance. I’m a property manager by trade and things that need to be maintained always catch my eye. The first one was the elevator, the floor needs replaced, and the elevator worked
Positive: NOTHING. DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms mouldy, old, dirty. Plus we checked out got our security bond back. Then 2 hours later they manually entered my card number and took more money out!! Negative: This place needs to be shut down. Hotel is falling apart. Staff are rude and don’t want to be there
It's nice, if you know what you are getting into. The location is really close to Miami Beach, not too far from downtown. The hotel is cute, there is good food nearby and the rooms have been updated. The elevators do not work, there is a lot of construction nearby, it's easy to mess up your keys and there is no free breakfast/coffee/water. If you can live with that, you will probably like it.
The location of Palm Tree Club Miami is good, and the view of the pool is nice. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The property feels much more like a motel than a hotel. During my entire stay, the telephone in the room was not working, which meant that for any issue at all I had to go in person to the reception (even something as simple as requesting a remote control for the TV as there was no remote control in the room when I arrived). The access cards stopped working several times, forcing me to return to reception to have them replaced. There is no breakfast available at the restaurant. Instead, it operates as a disco bar, with parties taking place throughout the weekend. My stay included a long weekend, and there were very loud parties three nights in a row, making it e
