Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino

Positive: Location was good, parking was great. The Cafe prices were great and food was good!! Negative: As most casinos, the smoke smell was pungent and better ventilation would be nice.. A pool would have been nice also.. The picture on the Tv wasn't great and the refrigerator was not in the cabinet, took up floor space..

Our room was clean except there was a marijuana smell. We asked the front desk to switch us to another one, but it was sold out. They had staff to spray deodorizer on our room carpet. It did work.||The refrigerator didn't chill our ice packs into solid ones. The hotel also charged a $10 resort fee. I didn't feel it was a resort-like hotel. It's more like a dated motel.

The casino part of this establishment is nice and the food choices are also good but this hotel is a bad place to stay overnight. Ive been staying here for about 20 years and this hotel has been going downhill with lack of good hotel management. I checked in recently about 2:30 pm and ended up leaving about 10pm that same night and driving 7.5 hrs home due to the kids and adults who are living full time in this hotel that make this an uncomfortable place to stay. The kids were running around their room upstairs and jumping on the beds making it hard to sleep. This was non stop for 3 hrs and when i called the front desk no one answered. Then there was someone smoking weed in their room and blowing it in the vents so it came in my room and stunk up my room. I usually stay here 2 times a year

We were busy for the holiday and checked out this casino and treat corner. The casino with large enough yet not overwhelming which was nice. If you needed to get a little game fix this was the perfect spot. If you needed a sugar shot, with pink box donut spot has got you! Look out behind the counter was friendly unfriendly as we came to a decision based on the incredible amount of choices they had. Get a mocha latte while you're there those are pretty damn good too!

This place has really gone downhill in the last three or four years since we were here before. The play stank of smoke. We had an after midnight arrival on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. When we got got there, about 1:00 p.m. there was a little sign on the checking desk that said that they had no personnel manning the front desk from 12 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. saying that we should talk to security. We checked in with security and they found our room reservation. When we got to our room, instead of having the two Queen beds we paid for, the room had one King and a small table with two chairs. When we went back and told them our specifically asked for two queen beds they said there wasn't anything they could do that's all they had and they had no access to anything else in the hotel.
