Paducah 1895 Washington Hotel and Spa

Because there weren’t a lot of guests the night we stayed, we had our choice of rooms and we were very happy with the room that we chose in the main house. We slept between the soft sheets I have ever felt. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very quiet. We were able to bring in Food from our cooler for breakfast and James made coffee. We felt like we had stepped back in time amidst the beautiful woodwork and gorgeous quilts that we’re hanging everywhere. We would definitely stay there again.

James is super! We enjoyed a quick check in, information on food, and he personally took us to our room. The room was spacious with a smaller room that has a desk. This was perfect for doing work in your laptop. The bed was comfortable, the tub was amazing, and the over all feeling was comfortable abs welcoming. Thanks for a great experience.

We were on the way to our vacation destination but had to stop somewhere to sleep. We got to Paducah way passed midnight and there’s not much options online you could check in as of the day before. The hotels we would like to stay were all booked. So we were debating either staying in Super 8 or 1895 Washington Hotel. After viewing the pictures online, we decided to stay at 1895 Washington Hotel! Turned out it’s the best decision we ever made! We gave the hotel a call and James picked up the phone and worked with us at almost 1am in the morning! He told us they had one room left with 2 Queen sizes bed. We quickly went there. Positive: Comfy bed and linens Negative: We felt very misled. The hotel claims to be a hotel and spa- the only spa feature would be a jetted tub that when turned on, a whole bunch of black chunks came out and it had no caulk or trim around the edge. I have a lot of feedback

2 beautiful, comfortable, historic (over 100 years old) houses with several private (locking) bedroom and bathroom suites and comfortable common areas. The location is in a safe neighborhood (police station is next door) that's convenient to downtown Paducah. A reasonably priced alternative to just another boring hotel.
