Customer Reviews
My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our time. Evan, who checked us in, is really friendly and gave a lot of recommendations. We had several great conversations with him over our 2 week stay. The campground is quiet and has great views of the mountains and mesas. The bathrooms are well maintained and you need a key to access them. We always appreciate this added security. We travel in a Class C Motorhome with no tow vehicle, so the MAT (Moab Area Transit) was such a convenient surprise. The drivers were friendly and we usually got a ride pretty quickly. I highly recommend checking it out. Also, get a cinnamon roll from Cactus Jack's!
Honestly when we pulled in, I was worried about what I had gotten us into, since you pull into a trailer park. However the campground is located behind the trailer park and was very quiet! The staff member was very friendly and he shared some additional information on the area, things to do, places to see, etc when he stopped by our campsite during our stay. Bathrooms were clean and showers had a good amount of room. Downside of that the site boundaries were not very well defined and shared a pole for water/electric. View at night was fantastic and you have a nice view of the mountains at sunset.
We were a bit skeptical because of a few other reviews but we had a great experience here. It was quiet and the staff were super nice and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean. We had an RV site right next to the long term/seasonal sites and they were all well kept. It’s next to a trailer park that was also quiet. Everyone kept to themselves. We went in March and the campground wasn’t full. It got pretty chilly at night. Over the hill behind the tent sites is a creek which provided a nice little hiking area shaded with some nice climbing trees. There’s also a fairly new playground that the kids really enjoyed. (see pics) The campground was outside of town a bit. It’s really close to Sand Flats Rec Area and also Rotary Park.
Very friendly and helpful, provides lots of information about things to do in the area. Absolutely loved our campsite #14. The shower is the nicest campground shower I have ever experienced, even better than my shower at home.
Pro: quiet and clean Con: the site uses card keys for the community bathrooms, and they don’t have enough of them. If you are using full hookups, they assume you don’t need access to the bathrooms and showers. It’s a terrible hassle to obtain the keys, if they even have them. I was there a week and never was able to get into the showers.
