Ozark Junction Mountain View by OYO

Checked in Friday night. No sheet or blanket on the bed. Next morning got them delivered but no housekeeping Saturday. Had to get key card reprogrammed Saturday and Sunday when it quit working. It was in my pocket all by itself, not near phone or credit cards. No housekeeping Sunday either. Had to get fresh towels myself. Found power cord for clock and lamp spliced together with electrical tape and wires exposed. I expected old and worn for the price but this was unacceptable.

The bed was a double and the mattress was horrible. The springs were squeaky and uncomfortable, and there were roaches in the shower. I did not stay because of these issues. However, I was charged the $59.74 the room because OYO would not refund my reservation. Do not stay here period. Go up the street to the Dogwood Motel. A much better place to stay.

Mr. Jeff, an excellent desk clerk, helped us out, by moving us to a room with a mini-fridge, because they are not supposed to move any of the furnishings, because we travel with a huge soft ice chest, and blue ice, and so need it refrozen each night. Jeff is a very nice man, with an interesting life..

Positive: Nothing Negative: This hotel needed updating in the 80's when I was a child. The hotel was overbooked and they were trying their best but some rooms had issues

There were BED BUGS in room 169. There were no lights at all in the bathroom, just empty sockets. Me and my wife and infant son received this room because it was the only non-smoking room available, according to the man on the phone from a remote call center (which is who I got through to with the only number listed online for the hotel). The room was right by the road in front of the hotel with the incessant sound of loud trucks, semis, and honking horns speeding through the intersection just feet beyond the door. The parking lot in front was so rough it could pop a tire. There must’ve been mold in the room, because my throat was hurting the next morning. No soap in the bathroom, just 2 rags, one of them dirty. The sheets irritated our skin. They automatically placed us in this room but s
