OYO Hotel Valley View TX, I-35

We opted for this hotel because it was close to The Gardenia Venue. I’m giving it 5 stars because it lived up to what you would expect from a motel. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and did the job for a quick stay. The beds were soft and comfortable. They had basic toiletries available in case you forgot yours. Our room was in the inner corner so the noise from the highway wasn’t an issue for us (also could’ve been that we were tired and knocked out). We booked a month in advance and the check in/out process was quick so no issues there either. The A/C was a tiny bit on the louder side but we were able to sleep. Would recommend if you’re looking for a short stay, especially if you’re attending a wedding nearby.

We had a quite pleasant stay here...our room was HUGE and so was the bathroom and vanity area. I don't hear much highway noise and I don't mind it anyways because I need white noise to sleep. The highway is just that. There are no horns, brake sounds etc just cars whizzing down the TX highway... business as usual. I felt incredibly safe here and theres a Dollar General & a fun little convenience store within walking distance. Be sure to snag a pizza made fresh and piping hot..it will still be hot by the time you finish your walk back to your room. We actually had a really fun time here it was low key, laid back, clean and cozy. Our first room was behind and big pillar to quite the road noise. We changed rooms no problem. Our next room was noisy. The a/c was louder on high so when we left it stayed on high. When we returned we put it on low and it was quite so bad. I was super tired, road trip and concert. When the water was turned on for the shower, it was loud too. After it ran for a bit that stopped. I would stay here again even with the issues we had. The front desk were helpful and it was only for 1 night

Excellent facilities and convenient. The only dislike was the 75 MPH truck traffic on I-35 most of the night. Room was very clean.
