Lone Star Refuge RV Park

My family lived here for 4 years and loved every minute! Mike and Jen are the two most kind people you will ever meet. They are a blessing and this was definitely a “REFUGE” for us and our circumstances at the time. We were blessed to watch the park grow over the years and consider it an honor to be apart of the community/family they created within the park! It’s a special place with special people & incredible sunsets!

We lived here for 7 months. We absolutely loved it if I could leave a higher rating on google I would. Out of all the RV parks we have been to, I KNOW we will never find one as amazing as Lone Star Refuge. The park owners work so hard to make the park feel like home and the tenets feel like family. It is a very safe family environment and I loved that they allow for a fenced in yard and a shed and every lot has multiple parking spaces and is a double lot giving you extra space. The owners meticulously care for the park, making sure there are no pests, the lawn is mowed, and the park is always clean. It honestly feels more like living in a neighborhood than an RV park with longer term residents and amazing neighbors and owners. I can even brag on the amazing well water the park has. I am st

My husband and I have never felt more at home than we did when we lived here! Jen has such a kind heart and really makes this RV park feel like a home especially for long term stays! We had a previous pups living with us and having our own space was second to none! By far the best place we have lived in an RV park. We only left due to jobs placement or we would still be there!

Very clean place. The owners ( Mike & Jen ) go way out of the way to make everyone not only feel welcome but like a part of the family. The tenants are just as friendly and willing to help each other out if needed. It is a new park so it is a work in progress but coming along nicely. It is small but that only adds to the positive atmosphere. Geared towards families. Once it is completed, it just might be one of the best around. I could go on about all the good things here but that would be like writing a book. Glad we are here.

We were struggling to find a spot for the night. We called a sweet voice answered. We told her we were visiting our hometown for our 55th wedding anniversary and wanted to walk down memory lane. She said she had one space waiting on long term tenant till a few days later. She said come on! It was a joy to stay in this beautiful Long term RV park.
