A nice place to begin hiking into the Henry Coe wilderness, flat with parking, but does require a vehicle with decent ground clearance to get into. There are a few streams to cross and small cars will have trouble. The road to the Orestimba Corral is narrow so drive carefully.
Great place for camping and hiking, lots of history.
