Hamlet Motel

I stayed one night here price was a little on the high side for what it is. It’s cash only motel the rooms are updated and clean. The person at the desk is very nice and went out of her way to accommodate my disability. It’s very peaceful although it’s near hwy 33 noise was very minimal. I would have gave 4 stars if the grout in shower didn’t have cracks. I will be staying here again

We were travelling to southern california and had been driving for a long time and were tired, so we found this motel after being scared away from the big cities and were pleasantly surprised. It is a small town so we felt safe and the motel was $55 for a queen room. It's clean and smells nice, not like some motels. Charming and cozy I will definitely remember this place if I am ever in So. Cal. in need of a place to bed down. The lady (owner?) was very inviting and nice. Not knowing anything about what food there is in Newman, CA we were pleasantly surprised to find that there were takeout menus in the drawer for Pizza and Chinese foods also including burgers. Quiet private place with air conditioning, great for beating the heat! The decor certainly adds to the cozy feel. =) Love this pla

Just don't To be Fair they have a new sign that says "Under NEW MANAGEMENT " But I still Wouldn't If I can see positive changes I'll edit Local who passes by daily The outside looks cleaner swept tidy. I cannot make any comments on room conditions June 27 2023 1.5 stars for the outside clean

Well,the room that I was in appeared clean,however,there was an infestation of bedbugs. The room that I got was supposably the best one! I'd hate to see the other rooms!! They also have tenants residing there that have their cars broken down on the property so it makes exiting the parking lot interesting to say the least. The motel manager seems to like to drink everyday. I'd give this place half a star.

even one star is too much for this motel.||I had my worst motel experience there.||I booked 2 rooms each with two queen beds through booking.com,when i was booking I checked late check-in,and put arrival time about 11 or 12 am,and I payed for the reservation.||we arrived at 11:45,there was no one at the front desk.even the number they left wasn't working.the sign said go to room 7 where the maintenance guy lived.He didn't know what to do.he told us they didn't have the rooms we booked available.he ,my family , and two guests knock on his door until about half an hour later we woke up, when we told him why this happened,He just got so angry, swore a lot and very bad things in front of children and went back to sleep without giving us our rooms. really bad experience in the middle of nigh
