ORA Chokoloskee

My go to place for the upmost relaxation. The island feels magical every time I visit. Close your eye's and feel the warm sun, can hear the gentle wave's hit the shore, the welcoming sound's of the palm trees and the residences are beautiful on every lot..also the air brings fantastic smells of salt water. Each site is unique as is the people who reside there. Very friendly and welcoming. Smiles through out the resort. It offer's 3 pool's with hot tub's. Fruit trees are blooming everywhere. Hard to leave after a stay of even 2 weeks. There's a very clean motel on the island along with a wonderful smell from the restaurant. Take a small ride south to visit Smallwood's trading store which includes so much history including a canoe left behind by the Indians that lived and traded here in the

The mosquitoes here are horrible but not nearly as bad as the management. I've been traveling in RVs for 5 years, steadily for the last 3 years. This is the most money I've ever been charged for a camp site. $110.00 with tax. I thought it might be worth it because I was traveling with 5 kids. The park boasts 3 pools. I arrived right about the time the lobby was closing. When I parked my coach at the site I had no functioning water spigot to connect to. I had to improvise to get water to work. The next strike was hooking up the cable; revealing only one channel, the emergency network... useless. Instead of occupying my kids with a little TV time before retiring for the night, because the cable didn't work, I took them to the pool.... WOW! The mosquitos will carry you away! The thir

Awesome campground with great spots and amenities on site. There is also a motel on the grounds so if there are too many people with you a few can stay there.
