Ontheway RV Park

This was perfect for us! Diane greeted us as soon as we got there to make sure we knew where everything was that we needed. We stayed a week and she did reach out to us once or twice checking on us and sending some information about area attractions. It is exactly as described you have Internet electric water septic and even trash removal! The neighborhood was nice for going for walks with our little dog and we were close to everything we needed. Very interesting and historical town. Thank you!

Ontheway RV Park is exactly what it says it is -- the perfect base for exploring the area, and the price is right. The sites are level, the hookups top-notch, the area secure and the hosts, Diane and Jeff, are great people.

I have stayed at many RV campgrounds across the country, and although many offer more activities, amenities and foo-foo, I am really enjoying this simple little park. The owners are great. They keep the grounds in excellent condition and the WiFi is excellent! Very few RV Parks can tout that! Louisiana is a quaint little town right on the Mississippi River. The park is about 2 miles from the river and is on high ground with no threat of flooding. They can handle over-night folks but really cater to the long stay folks like myself. We needed a last minute place on our way home to Iowa and found this small, quaint campground. No frills but all our needs met…full hookup and WiFi. Diane answered our initial call promptly, was there waiting for us to arrive as we were able to text our ETA. Not much scenery but we didn’t need that! Cash or check only but very reasonable price. Overall happy with this spot ‘on the way’!"

Electric, water and waste hookups. In town and accessable. Diane was helpful and her dog was so happy.
