Onsen Hotel & Spa - Desert Hot Springs

Overall, I want to emphasize the great value of this place! This was our first night in the area and it was such a nice way to kick it off! Tracy welcomed us so kindly at check in and was so friendly. She recommended the Palm Springs Village Fest which was a great rec. We had a queen room & it was spacious. The pool and jacuzzi were so nice— that’s what we were there for! They were both clean and in an enclosed private area. Pool was pretty warm and hot tub was nice & steamy. It was so beautiful to be swimming at sunset. The lil breakfast spread in the lobby was the perfect kickstart to the day. We were looking for a new place to stay in Desert Hot Springs this year. We head to the Desert from Northern California every year in January. |We tried the Onsen Hotel and Spa and loved it. This is our new place to stay in DHS!||The location is close to the main Palm Drive in the hotel/ spa district, close to the famous Cabot Pueblo museum, and the property itself is attractive, private and quiet with a very good mineral swimming pool and large hot tub. Our room near the pool was large, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.||The hotel manager, Tracy, was responsive, welcoming and always accommodating; she arranged my fabulous scrub/wrap treatment with esthetician Alexis for the afternoon I arrived. Front desk check in very friendly! Rooms very clean and roomy Clean grounds Nice breakfast included My only thought was the king bed had four tall pillows. My husband and I both woke with neck aches. Two tall and two low pillows would round out the experience perfectly! But this is our personal preference so it would not stop me from recommending.

Very cozy and quiet place near Palm Springs, Coachella, and Joshua Tree National Park. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Looks like the breakfast is too popular, we always missed it when coming down around 10 am.

Staying at this hotel was really a great experience! Clean, fragrant, delicious breakfast! Pet friendly. We felt at home here. Very nice service. They take care of everything without a problem. They make the guest feel really appreciated and noticed here! I will come here more often! I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to regret their money!
