One Ski Hill Place

We just returned from a fantastic stay at One Ski Hill Place, and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better ski base in Breckenridge. The rooms are well appointed - spacious, comfortable, and well designed so you can actually relax after a cold day on the mountain. The kitchen was well equipped and had high end appliances. The whole experience felt high-end but still very family-friendly. The ski-in/ski-out access was wonderful, and the ski valet was the cherry on top - we didn’t have to schelp our gear to and from the mountain. It made such a difference to be able to start skiing once we left the building. If you’re traveling with kids or taking lessons, the proximity to childcare at Peak 8 is huge. This was our second time staying at One Ski Hill Place. Previously we stayed here in February 2020 and came back because we liked it so much. ||The convenience to the slopes and lifts is incredible and a special shoutout to their ski valet service and in particular Marty Cunningham who was so friendly and helpful in dealing with our skis.||We again enjoyed the two lane bowling alley with our daughter- make a reservation - and loved the heated indoor and outdoor pools, and while we don’t play pool, they had a pool table, and a media room.||I will say that it since the gondola into town closes at 5:00 pm, the bars outside - the T-Bar etc. and the area generally becomes a ghosttown - completely deserted, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Leaving a review here because I am a day guest and do not know where else to leave it. I was at the lodge restaurant "the living room" today and witnessed something I think is absolutely appalling. The male bartender Josh that was on shift was absolutely disgusting to the rest of the staff. One of the female servers had opened a window for a brief second and right after she did he followed right behind her to close it, she nicely tried to explain to him why she had done that and he was very rude to her in front of everyone in the restaurant about it. She removed herself from the dining area and then he proceeded to walk behind the bar and talk poorly about her and management to everyone sitting there. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! Went to the restaurant lounge this afternoon. Savannah was amazing. She helped my boyfriend and I out and recommended drinks. I’m a beginner to the whiskey world, and tried my favorite Moscow mule but whiskey and then ordered an old fashion for the first time. She was amazing and made great drinks. I would 100% recommend her and I hope management gives her the recognition she deserves. Thank you so much Savannah, from your favorite Texans.
