On The Bayou RV Park

I was first drawn to On the Bayou RV park because it’s country living and only ten min from town. When I moved in the management was transitioning and I must say that they are good people who really care about the community and are doing great things for the park! They have been there for me every single time I needed them. Also, I love the fact that they have RV spots on the river. We can walk out the door and go fishing in our backyard. They also have a on site laundry room and two nice restrooms with showers that are available 24/7! I’ve been here for about two months now and I haven’t had any issues whatsoever so I’m a happy camper!!

Me and my son came here because of the fishing and it’s awesome showers are clean hot and big the manager is amazing as well he helped us in the cold and rain late at night and didn’t complain one bit . Very accommodating and welcoming. Made me feel welcome from the initial phone call to inquire about the place . That’s what u call REAL southern hospitality! Love this place would recommend anyone looking for a place to relax and get away!!!!!

Worst place to stay.The manager just got fired had me evicted for making him mad. I lived there 4 yrs without any trouble til he made manager. They have an EVICTION SCAM to take your belongings when evicted cause lawyers won't help you. The owners are sand diggers and don't care about the campers. It is noisy with traffic all night cause of people hitting wake up bumps on the main road. Very dangerous place to enter or exit. Like I said I lived there over 4 years and could write a book. Caught the manager stealing gas out of my truck. The landlord quote ( said he did not want to get involved with issues, that is what the manager is for) un quote. So if you had an issue there was Noone to talk to. They put false pictures up about fish being caught in the bayou. Again like I said I lived the

The place is beautiful, there was a DV situation with the manager and what she said was her ex.. had to call the police..the place began to get people that didn't seem safe..seemed sketchy, we stayed about a month and we left... again beautiful place but the place needs better management. We were also told one price then it changed, they couldn't get the prices right.

I stayed there for a week during the change of management and seen improvement almost instantly great communication . Beautiful scenery right off the water great for fishing and family oriented.
