Bastrop Bayou RV Park

We had an Excellent RV Experience here. All the rv hookups you need. The owner-operator Shayne was incredibly helpful to us. We needed a rescue spot as we were required to leave the gulf coast beach due to bad weather with our horses. He let us set up our portable corrals and use his place in a rather unusual fashion. All the other campers loved the horses. We had a great evening visiting and toasting. Doesn't get much better than this.

I have lived here for over 4 years and I absolutely love it.It’s perfect if you’re looking for a country getaway and surrounded by beautiful nature.And also we’re located not even 15 miles away from Surfside Beach so it’s perfect. I would recommend to everyone to come and enjoy a nice slice of paradise.

I have been here for a month, and it has been very peaceful. I can take my dog out and play fetch, and be left alone! Also I have decent chats with the neighbors here and there.

It's OK. Not shaded and not very child oriented... For those traveling with children. They do however have free Wi-Fi and the rates are unbeatable. They are in process of adding new acreage and lots to the rv park and they have added a laundry room for tenants. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Great view of the bayou just around the corner. All in all its a good place.

We stayed here 6 weeks due to us being security guards for the solar farm nearby. This campground is super quite, super safe, no loose dogs. The laundry room was clean and all machines worked perfectly. The owner was great to work with. Thanks Shayne for a great 6 week stay! ~Lynette
