We really enjoyed our stay at the Olympic Adventure Campground. The owners were very nice and helpful and always willing to help with an issue. Yes, we had to pay extra for a shower but in comparison to other camp ground, this was the nicest one we used. Yes, it is by a busy road but the other campgrounds in the area were on the same road and most did not have trees. This one had big evergreen trees all around us. We also liked that it was a good base point for most areas on the west side of the Olympic National Park.
A Pacific Northwest Gem. Don’t Believe the Myths and gossip!!!! I just got back from the most peaceful and gorgeous stay at this PNW campground, and I’m honestly surprised at some of the negative reviews floating around online, especially the ones calling the bathrooms “dirty.” Let me be clear: the bathrooms were as clean as you’d expect from a real campground. This isn’t a hotel lobby, it’s the outdoors, people! 🕷🦌 🍃 And if you arrive to find a bit of litter on the ground, it’s not the fault of the campground staff… it’s because some previous camper didn’t follow the CLEAR policy about keeping your spot clean. There are so many stunning types of sites here, from tent spots under old-growth trees to RV pull-ins with meadow views. Each site offers its own slice of nature, and it’s obvious
Just spent the night here last night on a bike packing trip from Tacoma to La Push, hands down the nicest campsite I've seen on my entire trip. The people who run the campground put a lot of love into it, it's obvious as soon as you get there. Also VERY NICE bathrooms and a fun shop too. Thank you for the great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Overall, the campground was very welcoming. Cute signs posted throughout the park, landscape a work in progress, nice size sites. Store/gift shop on site, too. John, owner, very personable. Definately woukd stay here again.
Location was close to Hoh so I gave 5 stars for that. Originally booked site 1 but was switched to site 12 at check-in and told it was a better site. Site 12 backed up to a permanent residence with an unsightly back porch (site 1 backed up to the wooded area for reference). Never saw the host again after we were hurriedly checked in because of a tiny home delivery. Took us a minute to find our site. We were given no maps or information. Some of the sites looked nice but ours was less desireable. I would have NEVER paid $85 had I known beforehand. Do better.
