Only open Wed, Fri and Sat. 3pm to 8 or longer if she has customers. Historic with a lot of square footage. Rooms for rent by appointment. There is a small thrift shop inside as well. Currently for sale.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic hotel. Jeanne, the owner/hostess/bartender is perhaps the most warm, welcoming, genuine individual I have ever encountered. |A glass of wine upon arrival, a cup of coffee and a muffin every morning. A diverse, interesting cast of characters in the bar, including a pair of beautiful, friendly hounds. |Full disclosure requires a warning that those travelers who might not tolerate rustic conditions should not consider this establishment. Typically I might consider myself to be one of those individuals. But the plus side outweighed the minus, and my wife and I had a wonderful weekend.

Wow this hotel is quite the experience! Jeanie (owner) is such a wonderful lady! She was a fabulous host and loves to get to know her guests. She can tell you all the history of the place and more. The rooms were insane! The moment you step in the rooms you feel like you've been taken back in time and it was so cool! We had a fantastic time at the old main street in and can't wait to go back! This is a must in chadron and the hospitality that you get with Jeanie is like no other! Highly recommend! And if you like ghosts ask Jeanie about the people who tend to make an appearance at the inn! We will definitely be back!

We booked for the night we arrived from the airport and a second time for the night before we had to leave. So happy to have booked the same place because it was hard to step away in the morning! Jeanne is quite the conversationalist and a master at making everyone feel at home. She has a clear passion in her work and for her hotel. I absolutely loved hearing the history of the place and the opportunity to view some of the suites. I was sold when I learned that every booking comes with a free drink, but truly value the "at home" feel I had while there. She gave great advice about what we should do while in town and traveling to Rapid City, and we are better people from our time with her for sure! COULD NOT have been a memorable experience without her!

I stayed there 4 years ago after having suffered a car accident and needing some repairs that could take a couple of days. I have never forgotten the warm welcome I received after a pretty rough day. The owner, Jeanie, offered me my first drink at the bar on the house! The hotel is old but authentic and the accommodations were comfortable. I hope to go back that way again and would definitely stay here again.
