Old Wooden Bridge Guest Cottages & Marina

Low-key place, off the beaten path, especially when compared to Marathon or Key West. Furnishings were just OK, getting the wifi to work was tricky. It had a pool, but it was too cool to use when we were there. Pretty sunrises over No Name Key. Looked good for fishing. Nearby Bahia Honda State Park had nice beaches, kayaks for rent, and snorkeling. Be sure to check out the nearby No Name Pub, just a short walk away.

Old wooden bridge resort and Marina is a bit of an exaggeration. It was formerly called old wooden bridge fishing camp in Marina, and that is more accurate. The aqua Lodge, a.k.a. houseboat was spotlessly clean, but rather haphazardly furnished. The AC worked well, but the lights are terribly dim. I didn’t check whether they were LED or incandescent, but they certainly put out very little light. The pool was not open and obviously had not been for some period of time. A resort would have the pool open or inform you that it would not be open during your visit. They should also warn you that you definitely need to bring or buy insect repellent. I literally have hundreds of bites from the Noseeums. You don’t see them or feel them as they bite, but you do feel the result for the next five days

This is a wonderful place. Clean and nice, well furnished, helpful people. We stayed in a houseboat. It will comfortably sleep 5 adults and 2 children.( It will sleep 6 adults and 2 children.) The children will sleep in the loft. There are two full beds and then 1 or 2 adults can sleep on the futon in the kitchen area. If you are familiar with futons, one person is comfortable, but two can fit. My husband gets sea sick, but he did not feel sick at any time for the time were on the boat 👍

Wife and i booked a vacation for Us, it would have been the first time Alone in 10 years. As Foster Parents the State encourages a vacation every year but Her only Availability for vacation is June, when All the kids are home. As parents you dont get Vacations from your children, and a family of 4 was placed in our Custody so we decided to take them with Us 7 days 7 nights places start at 2100 dollars and when you mention 5 children the price for the Exact Condo goes up to 8,600- 10,300. It was the exact same motel or Chalets.. Old Wooden Bridge said only 50 extra per person as cleaning fee. They walked throughout the rental and handed me back 350 dollars Cash .. Said its cleaner than when 1 couple Rents it Ive never had a Rental owner treat Us that Well.. Thank You very Much.. The key

We are sooo happy that we chose Old Wooden Bridge for our stay in the Keys. We did several day trips north and south. We jet skied and snorkeling out of Key West and Dolphin Encounter and Turtle Hospital in Marathon. Highly recommend this location.!!We saw manatee from the bridge!! Thank you Old Wooden Bridge you really made our visit a great memory!
