Old Desert Bull RV Park

The owner Shirley was great. She was friendly and helpful getting us into our site, and then getting a full-timer with a tool to open the sewer connection. The campground is down a dirt road, with areas around it for walking. All the sites are full hook up, there aren’t any showers or restrooms, but there are 2 washers and dryers. It was a great area for watching sunsets. Highly recommend

Peaceful setting. Comfortable sights, full hookups with brick patio. Plenty of room for our 41 ft 5th wheel back porck, truck and extra car. Here for the season. We will return next year. Really feels like home. Sunsets and mountain views. Easy access to town.

Life on the date farm is sweet! Quiet mornings, fabulous walks, and serene nights in the desert. Top it off with High Tanks brewery and restaurant and you just can't beat it. Great beer, awesome food (we actually were there for a brisket special), and live music! Shout out to Jason, who made us feel welcome. So much better than the rv parking lots that abound in the SW.

Another hidden gem only a couple miles south of Wellton, Arizona, this tiny RV park is reminiscent of a county park atmosphere's due to being embedded in a rural world accessed via sandy primitive roads. Not to worry, though, as the park's ten spots host everything from popups to 5th wheels and Class A's as proof that the access is solid. All sites feature full hookups, although there is currently (Feb 2025) a new one under construction where the sewer is being finished. They are pull-thru access with sandy parking and brick patios, most on a roughly north-south orientation that puts the morning sun at your door. A little off the highway, great if you want quiet and dark - we loved that for sleeping, but not great for a quick overnight stop while traveling CC. You have to go down some soft sandy dirt roads to get here. Stay off the shoulder it's really soft. The park was clean and the host was very nice.
