Old Bardstown Inn

It was such a nice stay! Great price and very nice customer service. The rooms were clean and smell free. Just so everyone knows- there are blankets in the room. Ours were located in the drawers under the t.v. The shower was very good and clean. Beds were great. Outside noise was muffled and overall quiet. My mom and I had a very pleasant stay and will return again if we stay in Bardstown. Thank you!

Very clean and comfortable, looks like room had been recently renovated. Quiet too, will definitely stay here again.

This was my 2nd choice for a one night stay. I left the first because the TV was unmanageable for a non-tech boomer. I only wanted to watch the baseball or football and the Motor Lodge system was not meeting my needs. So, I went to OBI. Same price, very friendly receptionist. Showed me my room first and let me mess with the remote. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and great access to town, both old and new. Close to 3 distilleries. Level parking lot close to rooms. Everything I needed. I recommend.

Our daughter joined us on this trip… so for the extra $10 added to the room price, we were handed an extremely small/thin towel. Three small pillows on each bed with only a sheet and thin comforter (one blanket in the dresser… which doesn’t work with two beds). The hot water didn’t work at the sink. |The room wouldn’t pass a white glove test, but was fairly clean. I would recommend thinking of this place as a hostel (bring your own pillow, towel, blanket). Not the quietest of rooms (lots of noise could be heard from the parking lot). |I think they are trying to update/renovate, but there is still some work to do.|We didn’t try the breakfast… so I can’t give an opinion on that. We headed to Hadorn’s Bakery instead |( highly recommended… arrive early , there will be a line)

This is a well maintained family run motel. The rooms have been updated to what you would expect. The rooms were clean and large sized with two double beds. The beds were a little firm for my taste but others may prefer that. The pool was open and was very nice. The location is on the outskirts of town but Bardstown isn't big so everything is within 5 minutes drive. The price here was way better than anything else in Bardstown for the weekend we were there. I would stay here again.
