Little Patch of Heaven Campground

What a gem! Little Patch of Heaven Campground in Bardstown is the perfect peaceful escape. The sites are spacious, level, and well-maintained with full hookups, plus the restrooms and showers were spotless. Sandy and the team were incredibly welcoming and helpful with local tips—especially for bourbon trail stops nearby! We loved the serene lake views and quiet atmosphere. Pet-friendly and relaxing— we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven!

We can’t say enough about Sandy & Sheila! Both went the extra mile to be helpful and welcoming. I called in advance (having no idea about Bardstown being the Bourbon Capital of the World) because how could you not want to experience A Little Patch of Heaven? Sandy literally had me at “hello”! We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up staying an extra night. Bernheim Forest Preserve was spectacular! We’re not big drinkers but DID enjoy a fabulous cocktail at Liam & Ash. Sandy made us feel like family! I now understand why loyal campers keep returning!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. $950 for monthly rate up front with a promise to pro rate you if you were to leave early. Well that’s what Sandy told me anyways. I asked all the questions and she doesn’t care to lie right to your face while telling you a bunch of BS either. It’s also the highest monthly rate I’ve ever paid in my life for a mediocre campground. It’s also the place of No. I wanted to bring my boat down and park it out of the way and was told absolutely not🤣🤣🤣 you can’t make it up. The lots are very small and you don’t have room for anything. I’m not blaming this all on Sandy. She’s just a pawn for the crook owners but she aligns right with them. The way they screwed ol Tanner is just absolutely friggin pathetic. Gave him back $200 for staying a few days of the $950 he just gave

We had an amazing experience at Little Patch of Heaven. Sandy truly went above and beyond—checking in on us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable, offering thoughtful gear advice, and sharing great recommendations on places to go, things to do, and where to eat. Her hospitality alone is well beyond a five-star experience. The campground itself is clean, easy to navigate, and incredibly welcoming. The common areas are well maintained, and the lake in the back adds a beautiful, peaceful touch to the property. You can tell a lot of care goes into creating a place where guests feel genuinely welcomed. We’ll absolutely be back.

Visiting the USA from Australia in a hire RV and stumbled across this place. We loved it so much we just had to go back there on our 2nd trip to the USA, and will find it hard to not visit on any future trips. Sandy and Sheila are just so accommodating and friendly. They go above and beyond in making sure your visit goes smoothly and really care about your experience. The RV park is located in a great location , and its not far into Bardstown . It makes an excellent base for exploring the bourbon trail . We cant wait to get back there and will plan to stay longer next time. We miss you Sandy and Sheila! Shelly and Shorty
