Ocean Edge at Daytona

The transactions are done electronically through email and text. The parking lot is pretty small but the place only has about 10 units or so. Clean outside, the room was well done and smelt clean when walking in, was very clean. Had a mini fridge that froze everything we put in it which is great for the humid hot days, a Keurig, and microwave. The bed had plenty of pillows, fluffy comforter and a super comfortable mattress. The shower had great water pressure, but did constantly leak. The keypad on the door kept messing up but the staff was quick and attentive and we were given an actual key. This place is within walking distance to everything or a quick drive. This was our third stay at Ocean Edge and it was another great stay. We stayed in room 107 this time and out of the three it’s our favorite room. We like the placement of the kitchenette and the king size bed. The bed was comfortable and the AC work well. While there is some road noise it wasn’t bothersome, when you in the room you don’t notice it. We do choose room that are tucked back off the road and we also have a white nose machine we travel with. Our stay was somewhat last minute as our original trip got canceled on 5/5 and we were able to book this on Friday for 5/8 for 6 nights. We will definitely be back.

This is our go to spot when visiting Daytona. It is by a busy main road so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. They used to offer and/or leave earplugs in the room which I always thought was a thoughtful addition. I would give 5 stars but there was some maintenance and housekeeping items that could be addressed that weren't an issue on previous stays. Our shower was leaking from faulty shutoff valve. I just took handheld off the holder and let it hang to lessen the dripping noise. We were only given 1 set of towels for 3 day stay and no bath mat. They also used to have black makeup face cloths which was a nice touch. The parking lot is small, just enough room for 1 car per guest. I decided to schedule an extremely last minute weekend vacation for my family and they were very quick to accommodate us. After a long night of driving we were very pleased to arrive at such a clean and modern room. It was super affordable and well worth the price. We don’t have a single complaint. Check in was easy, check out was easier. Location couldn’t be more perfect. Right across the street from beach access, walking distance to all the souvenir shops and restaurants. Will absolutely book again!!

The room was very clean and simply decorated when we walked in. Easy access to a lot of Daytona Beach things. Parking lot kinda small, but theres only maybe 15 rooms to the hotel, so large parking not needed. The shower head needed to be replaced due to it being semi-clogged and the water pressure wasn’t very good. I did expect it to be a little nicer overall for the rate we got per night, but I also do understand I was also paying for location. Overall, it was pretty nice
