Ocean Drive Beach & Golf Resort

Had a few problems in our room & team member Roy from maintenance came to our room right away & took care of our problems! He was very friendly and did a great job! We really enjoy staying at Beach cove! Roy was a perfect example of not only a great place to stay, but of a staff member that takes pride in his work! |Robert Stewart ( room 305 )

The room was very clean! We came right after the busy season, the week after Labor Day, so it was quiet. The only concern I had was with the hard pillows and even though I like a firm mattress, it was on the hard side. Finally the air conditioner unit was located in a locked closet right beside the bed and was loud!! I’m a light sleeper so this bothered me, especially after getting up through the night for a bathroom trip. The unit doesn’t run long, but very frequently especially when set on a low temperature.

If you have no standards and expectations, this hotel might be a good place for you to stay. We booked oceanfront suite and as fancy as it sounds, it's far from it. The room was horrible. The main bedroom is literally in the hallway so you hear all the noise and obnoxious people who come at 3am ot 4am from night life and are extremely loud. The AC unit is in the wall where you sleep and sounds as plane taking off. We were party of 4 and literally nobody could sleep. Awful experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone. My biggest problem is that when I talked to front desk lady( someone called Mary) I asked about the rooms and that particular thing of noise and room location and she claimed that in 19 years she worked there, nobody complained. Mr. Ed at the desk was the kindest man I've met in a while, it was pouring rain at 4am when I came in and he gave me his umbrella and helped me and all my kids get settled in the middle of the night. From parking the car to getting snacks he made sure we were safe and sound for the day!

Sad little room. Nice balcony. Easy access to the beach. The facility is old and a little rundown. Restaurants and bars are closed in the off-season.
