Oasis State Park

I went here to hike through the park. I walked the main path twice and then did the 2.5 mile trail. It was nothing special to see, just lots of dead plants, birds, a lizard, a man made pond, and signs for Rattlesnakes. If this is an Oasis, they left a lot to be desired. On a positive note they did have plenty of bathrooms and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. That was a plus in my book. Overall it was ok to see once but there was nothing there that would draw me back to visit again.

Topo allows for private camp sites. Clean and generally well maintained state park with good fishing. Quiet and scenic, yet not too far of a detour off hwy. 70.

We went and caught a bunch of trout, and it was beautiful day and it was a fantastic family experience. We use worms to fish and they were biting like crazy.

Great state park very quiet and safe nice bathhouse with family restroom and warm push showers, walking trails and pond to fish

$20 to stay the night! You can pay cash or they have barcodes you can scan to pay on line. Ita 24hrs here great for people passing through. Looks like its going to be a peaceful and quite night ! We can't wait to see it in the am.
