Oasis at Gold Spike

The location of this hotel downtown was awesome, close to everything. Room was spacious and clean. Booked a poolside room, took 30 sec to get to my room from reception area, very convenient. Staff always greeted me and asked if I needed anything. They do room cleaning starting on the 3rd day but let you know you can have your room cleaned anytime by contacting front desk before 12 noon. Pool area was nice, pool was refreshing, other people have complained about the night club noise but I didn’t hear any of that, but they do include 2 sets of ear plugs in the room. Great staff, great stay.

The accommodation delivered exactly what it promised for the price paid. The receptionist, Kris, was very friendly from the beginning, providing all the information and being very attentive. Our room was not located in the reception area but in a building next door, which I had already been informed about, and it did not affect the experience at all. We also enjoyed the pool area, which is great, and the room was clean with everything working properly. I would definitely recommend staying there!

I gave this hotel a 3 star but wanted to make sure to give a shout OUT to Angel and D'harlyn at the front desk. LOVE these ladies , especially Angel. She has the best attitude and provides GREAT customer service.. AND, this hotel has a great location--walk to Fremont Street and many restaurants. SIMPLE, no fluff - but true to its photo's. So if you want a simple place to rest your head, great service, great location- this is it.

Got the room with my girlfriend for NYE week. Great and cozy room with AC/heater. No microwave or fridge but that was known ahead of time so plan accordingly! The Gold Spike had an Emo NYE Party and the vibes were immaculate! Plenty of food and drink options with Fremont St Experience right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again!

Tldr; Good place to lay your head at an afforable price. Tuesday night - 70$ish on booking for 2 bed. Hallways smells like fabuloso (which can be a hit or miss for some, but at least we know it's clean) - but the rooms smell very clean! 2 sets of ear plugs were provided that were pretty good. They are like the 7$ Amz ones you find online. There wasn't a lot of noise for being a Tues night so I was happy. Bed and pillow was comfy. Now the room cleaniness - probably good. The shower was hot. Maintance of the room was ok - shower faucet was still running when the shower head was turned on. Hard to close the door with two people in the bathroom - door hits right to the toliet but honestly no issues here. Provided tolietries were enough for a night but only 3 towels for 4 people (need to
