I've spent over a year at oakridge campground and can't say enough good things about the park. Wishing I could stay, but it was time for a new adventure but I will definitely be back. The owners are amazing! They enjoy the grounds and the people who visit and take pride in their ownership of their property. Wild animals roam through such as deer and turkeys and other small animals. Fishing is abundant in their pond and you will see frogs, small and larger turtles sunning in the afternoon. Sunsets are amazing coming across the water in the evening. No there may not be a pool, playground for the kids, long hiking trails, but there is imaginations that can be used here, lawns to play tag, or many other made up games. Conversations a plenty, laughing, music and I'm sure I've seen a little d

It was a pretty nice site. Pros: You can fish, they have lots of shade, they offer camper hook-ups and do primitive camping on weekends. They also have clean bathrooms with showers. Also, it's close to a gas station and the drive-in theater! Cons:The water in the bathroom smells really foul, only tent camping on weekends. The man who owns the place kinda seemed rude, but maybe that was just me. Quiet time is I believe is 10pm till 8am. Tent camping is 20 a night. Pets allowed. No picking plants/flowers and only catch and release. Overall, the experience was alright. The campsite is pretty small and everybody is close together but everybody is super quiet and I think more so there for long term. I didn't catch anything but branches while fishing, but maybe you'll be in luck! They also hav

This was our favorite campground we stayed at this summer while working on the road. It is nice and quiet and has plenty of shade which makes a world of difference. Shower house was better than most and everything worked as expected.

They dont mow around campsites, I seen some of the long term people mowing their own areas. The water is terrible. There are campers that are covered in trash and old vehicles. The electric post need changed out. We had electrial issues and didnt have any before hand or when left. The owners haven't a clue what they are doing or what is going on. Horrible place to stay.

If you’re expecting a peaceful campground experience at Oakridge, prepare to be sorely disappointed. This place is less “charming getaway” and more “overpriced trailer park in disrepair.” The park is littered with old, dilapidated RVs and neglected sites that look more like junkyards than campsites. We were assigned a site next to one with an old car on blocks, rusty auto parts scattered in uncut weeds, and yet they had the nerve to text me about “unapproved items” outside my camper—namely a couple of neatly folded camp chairs tucked under my slideout. Communication is a joke. Anytime I raised a concern, the owner dodged it by sending his wife or son—neither of whom seemed to have a clue what was going on. I ended up relaying everything to a kid who just texted his dad for answers. If yo
