Locust Hill Motel

This is my second time here and it's cleanand the service. You couldn't ask for better service then what Mrs Reba gives. She is sweet and she will help you as much as she can. I was here for 9mths my first stay and I'm on one month going on two months this round. It may be a little run down and need some work, but you get what you pay for. The room was clean, we have cable, air or heat that works absolutely amazing. And if I'm correct they will be having internet soon. These are older people and they do a good job at what they do here. They are busy working all the time. The problem is if some of the people that come here would have more respect for other people and their belongings maybe the motel wouldn't be in as bad as shape as it is.

Staff are helpful they make sure you have plenty of clean washcloths and towels daily. If you're staying weekly you save money compared to any where else you would stay even better than the motels in owensboro ky right over the bridge. They are always on site and easy to find will help you with any requests or needs you may have. I always see them hard at work cleaning rooms and painting rooms. I was a day or two late on rent and they were really nice about it let me pay it late at night even though it was almost 12 they weren't mean about it. And lastly I was surprised at how quiet it was especially at night not a peep or sound being made after a certain hour which is nice if you have to be up early for work!

The room they wanted me to stay it was literally like a walk in closet. Soon as I opened the door there was a roach. The table tv was on was nasty very grimy. Just because I had a dog that I was r bringing cause there not pet friendly should be place already dirty n bugs. But they put me in that room saying it was only room left when plenty were open come to find out later. It was room right next to there's. Needless say I got a refund within 10 mins

The motel is inexpensive, and the lady at the desk is a sweetheart! The bed was nice and soft and the room for the most part clean, but the rooms could use a bit of an update, and the water pressure is pretty low. Overall, though, we had a good stay! No one bothered us, nothing weird went on, and I slept well. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave but no coffee pot, and i did not see a clock. (Though really, how many of us just use our phones anyway?) There is a single heating and cooling unit, which works well for the room size.

Never got to stay but the owners were nice and polite. We we're checking on renting a room by the week. A little pricey and small for our needs. Had a microwave and a deep sink in a room designed for a closet with no room to move. The Cadillac is more roomy and has the rooms separated for privacy and very close to serve you and your families needs. I gave it a 3 for the location of the country setting.
