Northwoods Inn & Suites Blackduck

I love this hotel! The room was clean and large, and had everything I needed. I had to work remotely for a few days, and the desk in my room was perfect. The wifi was fast and reliable. The owners are so kind and welcoming and made my stay so comfortable.

Very disappointed. This hotel has potential but needs someone to care. We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family and unfortunately will not stay again. The entire hotel needs to be updated. The pool is empty, dirty and an eye sore. The ice makers are not working, full of scale deposits and a complete mess to look at. We had 2 separate rooms. Each room had dried urine on the toilet. Brown, wet bath towels and a stained brown shower curtain with water deposits and mold on the shower heads and sink faucet. Dirty mirrors. Blood on the sheets. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was dirty. We slept on top of the comforter with our clothes for our blanket. We purchased our own towels from Dollar General next door along with Clorox wipes to clean the toilet, shower head and faucets

Had a great stay, rooms where very clean, loved the room we had the decor was bright an cherry. The hotel guy and his wife where very polite and helpful. Will definitely be staying here next time we need a room when we are this way for my husband's pool tournaments.

So welcoming! Went out of their way for us when we arrived late in the evening and resturants are closed. Opened the breakfast area for us to grab a snack! Wonderful people!

Incredibly friendly and nice staff! The rooms suprised me how clean and well taken care of they were, brand new appliances this place is great. Perfect for my ice fishing trip!
