Northwoods A-Frame + Tiny Cabins

Really great concept and space in nature! Every detail was well thought out and provided an exceptional stay. Appreciated the tiny cabin privacy and direct access to trails on the property. Enjoyed every minute spent relaxing in the glow of the wood fire, gazing into the stary dark night sky, snowshoeing the trail loop and just being in the quiet space of nature with no distractions. It was lovely. The fresh snow and cold temps were a bonus!

Our experience at Northwoods Wald was so nice and relaxing. The Host were attentive from inquiry to check in and checking out. They were available for questions replying promptly. The grounds and cabin were extremely clean and beautifully and tastefully designed. It was obvious that the Host spent lot of time thinking about what their guest would desire from the supplies available to the top notch decor to the high technology lights and security system. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, I would recommend Northwoods.

Book it. True weekend getaway location. Absolute solitude on a beautiful heavily wooded property. Tiny cabin is very modern (I believe only 3 or 4 yrs old) extremely comfortable with great deck to wash away the stress of city living. AC was very welcome. Golf cart is a must to traverse the 100 yards to the very modern private bathroom and kitchen facility. Shared with other tiny cabin. Kitchen is fully equipped so plan to eat in during your stay. The cabins are 15 min from Itasca State Park. Take your bikes. Terrific paths for biking. Hosts were tremendously responsive. Don’t hesitate. Book. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic weekend retreat. You will leave relaxed.

My husband and I stayed at the Northwoods A-Frame last August for several nights for our wedding anniversary! I'm so incredibly late writing a review, but I still wanted to! The location was absolutely perfect if you're looking for a luxury cabin in the woods with no neighbors and all the amenities you need! It was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin itself was gorgeous, so modern and impeccably designed. We enjoyed just touring each room and enjoying the decor and architecture. We loved to sit or stand in the main living area and just either read a book or play a game (they have many options available) or sit staring out at the woods as we drink our morning coffee! We booked the A Frame and Tiny Cabins for our family! What a beautiful place! The area is so peaceful and private-so relaxing! The AFrame and cabins are lovely, so cozy and equipped with anything you need!! We were located close to Itasca State Park and spent many hours there! Also drove to Detroit Lakes to hunt for the Trolls!(worth the 50 minute drive)!! Would highly recommend the Northwoods A Frame and Tiny Cabins-you won’t be disappointed!!
