North Winds Lodge at Higgins Lake

4 adults stayed 2 nights. It is a quiet place to stay, the rooms are comfortable, and we all slept well. We found the rooms to be clean and a good place to relax. Outside there is enough space for a group to gather together and spend some time. There is also a place to build a bonfire if you want to. The owners are pleasant to deal with and made the reservations process easy. We had to make some adjustments with our reservations and it was painless. They are dog friendly and have reasonable pet rates.

Only place I have ever made a reservation that would not give some of your money back if you had to canceled our trip. Make sure you think twice before calling this place that nothing come up that you cant make it. Most places will give you half of your money back but not this place.

Classic old school motel decent place to stay. My wife asked if they had breakfast they said not since COVID. Personally I think we all need to stop using that word ,we are long past that now. Dog friendly which was good. If you're tired a decent place to lay your head.

Great spot! Classic motel, clean rooms and bathroom, the kindest staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a good place to crash at the end of the day!

The flooring is new and clean. The hot water in the shower was instantly hot and never ending. The shampoo smells like cherries. Most important to me, I have a full back fusion and if the bed is even average quality I often have trouble walking the next day. The bed in this place is fantastic. When I come up to ski again I plan to stay here; I love the bed. For me, the bed is the most important item in a hotel room; the bed at North Winds Lodge was fabulous. 02/2023
