Cross Country Ski Headquarters

We had an amazing time & first skiing experience at this facility! Highly recommend taking a private lesson if it’s your first time ever doing something like this. Jim was our ski guru & he exceeded our expectations- he’s full of knowledge and comedy and has a real passion for what he does! He’s been skiing for over 50 years! All of the staff were super accommodating and kind. I do recommend making sure you’re back from the trails well before closing time if you need to return items or gather your belongings! The entire vibe of the resort is very warm and peaceful. Can’t recommend enough!

We are from Florida. It was long trip, but in the end it deserved it! We are loving cross country ski - compilation pf your muscles, technic, good wax on ski's bottom and your arm's rhythm. Florida is a good place for living, but little bit short with the snow. Last year we were in Syracuse, NY and this time - annual family pass bring us to XC headquarters. Very good place - perfect grooming, different trails, mostly simple or medium. Great for start pf your season. Important - they do provide a rentals and "equipment service" (like a wax or ski spray lubricants). I had my ski, but for 11yo kid (son) it doesn't make a sense to buy. Legs growing so fast! They combined very good ski and poles for "skate technique". Very very good place if you are opening your XC season or begginer/medium ski

Incredible family-owned and run business. Top-notch customer service and great prices. Trails are always groomed to the best possible condition per the weather. Many great memories and experiences here. Highly recommend. I won't buy anywhere else.

First time cross country skiing and snow shoeing. It’s a lot of walking and a lot of workout. I don’t think we’ll do it again, but that’s not their fault, we just didn’t like it. They explained everything to us from how to put your skis on to how to stand up from a fall. It’s cold out there but not windy because of the trees. Hot chocolate was perfect 👌 If you want to workout outside in the snow, this is for you.😁

I'm sure most people have a fine experience with these guys, but they really didn't do me any favors. A complete neophyte, I ordered one of their skate-ski packages. The nominal weight range on the skis they sent me was well outside of the weight I specified. Did they suppose I wouldn't notice, or what? When I called them (naturally, it was I who had to contact them), they muttered something about how Salomon had misprinted the weight ratings on the skis. They didn't say why they'd decided to believe that Salomon had misprinted the weight rating and not that Salomon had misrecorded the weight rating in their database (or that the Salomon sales rep had just lied to them). What's evident is that they weren't curious enough to test the skis for themselves before sending them to me. The skis
