New Orleans Inn Portageville

This hotel did the job for thanksgiving holiday! Beds were clean, although firm. Bathroom, toilets and all other things were clean too. The room I stayed in was better than the other 2 rooms my family was in. The front desk staff, Nichole was very nice and accommodating. I would stay here again. It’s an older hotel so don’t expect a Marriott or holiday inn quality. For $54 a night it was just fine! The water is yellow, that is not a hotel issue. That is a portageville issue. I have family who live in this town and they told me it’s always been that way. Just a FYI

Nice room. Carpet just cleaned. Huge, comfortable bed, nice love seat & huge coffee table. Bath was immaculate. Nicole, the manager, knocked, pointed out money I had dropped 5 hours earlier. She had watched on the monitor! Nice to have that kind of honesty & safety.

Pulled back my bed sheets to discover them covered in hair plus a dirty sock. 🤢 Manager was not surprised or apologetic.

EXTREMELY Impressed! This hotel looked scary at first but WOW! It’s so clean and nice! Staff is AMAZING! I’ve traveled the world and this is in the top 5 cleanest hotels I’ve seen. WiFi was so good I was able to play my PlayStation without any issues! Absolutely perfect for anyone traveling and needs a place to sleep.

Plaster falling off the walls. Electric outlet loose. Room was dirty. Beds were very hard. Had made reservation for 3 adults and they gave me a king size bed. Very run down.
