Nellis Suites at Main Gate

Extremely disappointed in this location. I have never been slandered in my life. I am in the process of moving and having a new home built so we figured that we would look into this location for a temporary rental while our home is built. I am fully approved for a VA mortgage on a new build home yet I was denied permission to move into this establishment due to having a common first and last name. They need a better background check system as they can not even run a social security number. I am irate and angry over having been subjected to the stress of having my ingreity and good name slandered. This place should be investigated by the State of Nevada for fair housing violations. After seeing the property in person I believe we dodged a bullet.

I've been living here for a year and a half, and the neighbors are all great once you get to know everyone. Maintenance guys are very friendly and take care of all your needs if any. Bug guy comes around every couple months, so no bugs. It's a great place to live when you can't afford much else. Crime is just about nill, and if you have any problems they take care of it immediately. Swimming pool has been down for over a year. Gym is closed due to air-conditioning issues, but other than that it's loud because of the Air Force but it's a nice reminder of how much muscle America has. The intersection at Craig and Las Vegas Blvd will get you killed if you are not paying attention. It's a very shitty intersection. There is a market close by that has a food bank if you need food. Great and friendly management and staff, clean, no bugs and quiet, I would recommend this extended stay to people who need somewhere to go short term or long.

I stayed at Nellis Suites for a whole month. The place we got was a one bedroom. The room itself was better there a hotel room. I had a kitchen, fridge, couch, bed, dresser, table, chairs. The area felt kind of iffy. I did have good neighbors though. Remember when I posted about drinking the whole bottle of wine? I ran out of water and a neighbor brought me some. The kids made tons of friends there too. I met alot of nice people.

If i could give it minus stars i would cockroach city and drug dealers and they really don't care had to call metro more than once do yourself a favor and stay away.
