Natural Springs Lodge at Edelstein Ranch

Love love love the location and views at this property! The impressive stonework that leads to the river adds to its charm. Cabins were clean and equipped with full kitchen set ups to do my own cooking. Outdoor fireplace at the cabin was a nice touch too. Some of the furniture appears to be handcrafted, showcasing a great deal of attention to detail. The owners have clearly invested significant effort into updating the property while respecting its historical context. They are also in the process of creating an onsite museum featuring artifacts from the grounds. Unfortunately, the flood occurred just as they were about to open, so some rebuilding and cleanup are still underway based on what I've observed. Customer service was rude to my boyfriend and I, they were unhelpful with pricing and rooms. You’re better off camping in the woods and saving your money. The bears will be nicer than them.

Words can not describe this lodge. We were down in Hunt doing search and rescue. We needed a new place to stay and reach out to this lodge to confirm they were open before I booked online. The owner Taylor responded via text as we couldn’t get calls out, “you guys just come, we will take care of you”. When we got there Taylor wouldn’t let us pay. He open his doors to us when we needed a place to rest. These cabins are beautiful and I will bring my family to stay once hunt is rebuilt, and Natural Springs Lodge is cleared of debris. The facility is amazing and the people are even more amazing.

This place is just beautiful. There's a great big stone deck right on the river to launch your kayak or canoe from. There are several cabins under construction that have beautiful pine timbers, stone finished patios that are roofed over, outdoor fire places....... AND there's actually a Natural Spring that feeds into the Guadalupe River. There's also going to be a really nice customized tree house & play area built with timbers. I'm really excited to see this place come together.

Local here in California, we thought we'd love the place, but management is horrible, the location was run-down and it was an overall bad experience.
