Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort

Over the years, my wife and I have stayed at this location many times.|We have witnessed the slow decline in infrastructure leading to poor facilities, roads, and overall cleanliness.|They don't enforce the rules and allow dogs to roam unattended with no consequences to their owners.|As we were speaking to the on-site management, an employee was speeding past in one of their golf carts; they don't even enforce the rules internally.|The late-night party scene from the amusement park is noisy and represent drunken dangers to everyone.|We feared our personal safety and the security of our belongings and rig.|Management refuses to take any actions out of fear of losing the few dollars that continue to come in due to the poor condition of the facilities.||There are other options in this area, w

This place is so amazing I almost don't want anyone else to know about it! It's so serene and peaceful, and don't get me started on the pair of bald eagles we watched daily during our time there in November. We've stayed twice now for a couple weeks each during the fall of last season so we're eager to get back as they start to open back up this month. They have a fantastic staff, a big fenced in dog park and trails, and are in a perfect location just outside of the city. The waterfront back in sites are the way to go if you can get them!

We stayed here in a 40 foot fifth wheel. We requested a lakeside premium spot and it was really nice! We came here in October so it was the end of the season and the waterslides, pools, and some other amenities were already closed, but we weren't here for those things so that didn't matter to us. Our spot on the lake was beautiful and we were greeted by geese, ducks and Coots. So beautiful to watch. We travel with two dogs and there was a nice big dog park and lots of places to walk them which was great! It was very convenient to get to downtown Nashville from here and it was also close to gas stations and fast food and a liquor store. I used the laundry room which was clean and convenient. Welp. I have a 2024 F350 8 foot bed and a 44 foot 5th wheel camper. It older campground. So the spots are small. Had to park on the edge of the pad just so the slides could slide out. Had to park my truck sideways if front of the camper. Not saying it’s a bad. Just wanted to inform you that if you have a smaller camper or RV you’re fine. Don’t know about the waterpark because we were here in October when it was closed. It’s easy to get here.

The location of the RV resort is the only positive I have from my stay here. The sites are so close that you are required to enter the site next to you for water/sewer connections. Fire pits on the water front sites are too close to RVs to use. My neighbors fire pit was 5 feet from my RV. The bath houses are dirty and while someone attempts to “clean” the bathrooms/showers this doesn’t appear to be something that happens. To call this a RV resort is a real stretch. If all you need is a good location, this will do the trick, but I can’t recommend to anyone.
