Myerside Resort and Cottages

Great place to stay and pet friendly! Nice location close to the beach and about a 20 minute walk to the pier. Loved the pool, hammocks and outdoor games added a nice homey touch. Only complain would be being on the bottom floor, the walls are very thin and could hear the upstairs neighbors every move. There was some obvious signs of water damage, but that didn't bother us at all.

After a long long drive from Detroit, we needed a place to stay on new year’s day until we could check in to our hotel the following day. We called almost every pet friendly hotel/resort and had no luck with openings due to it being a holiday. We called Myerside Resort and Cottages and they just so happened to have an opening for the night! The man on the phone was super nice and was able to ‘check us in’ over the phone. Upon arrival, we were exhausted and falling asleep so we were pretty lost finding our place. I called and the lady who answered was very nice and explained how I could find my room. We still were confused just because it was dark and we were so tired, and the lady ended up calling me to make sure we were able to find it. She sent out a worker right away to help us find our

The outside area at Myerside is great: the pool, seating, tiki hut, etc. We had a great time playing in the pool. Also was very nice to eat outside and enjoy the weather. Our rooms were basic but worked out just fine. Window ac units were in the den and master bedroom. We appreciated having a full kitchen to cook meals. The resort is far enough from Estero that you don't hear much noise from the street. Easy walk to the beach.||||Please be aware that you hear a lot of noise from other guests at night. Our daughter had trouble sleeping because of guests sitting outside talking late into the night.

Myerside resort and condos is the kind of place that takes you back in time. The property is a collection of small beach houses with a fire pit, small pool, hammocks and plenty of chairs scattered around for evening socializing. It feels like you stepped back to the 1960s. We stayed in the Starfish Cottage, which has recently been updated. You could tell the building was older, but it was comfy and clean (and had central air!). The master bed was very comfortable. The second bedroom has twin beds, which my boys said were comfortable enough, but super squeaky. The kitchen was well-appointed and we had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning. The location of Myerside is outstanding. It is the last stop on the free beach trolley, which made it super easy to get anywhere on the isl

We were there 4/10/17 to 4/15/17 and absolutely loved it! The managers were so friendly and helpful and accommodating. The apartments are comfy and feel like home and the location is excellent. For the length of time we were there (5 days) and the size of our group (5) there is no way a hotel room would've been enough. I was sad to leave but will definitely come back! Myerside Resort is highly recommended!
