Myakka River Resort

I had reserved a site for 2026 at Camp Venice (owned by the same folks). |They canceled my reservation due to the sale of Camp Venice to Sarasota County.||I have made multiple attempts to work with them to receive my $2476.00 deposit back but have not been successful.||Deeply frustrated.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in our 40’ 5th wheel. The front office receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The sites are spacious enough without being on top of your neighbor. Our neighbors that we have met are friendly. It appears that many people live here. All sites are full hook up. The campground is conveniently located to Cool Today ballpark, Venice and about 30 mins to the beach. The campground is right next to a busy road, but the traffic was not really detectable inside our camper. We would stay here again

This is not a resort it has a pool very quiet at one time it was a nice place now they ahave let it run down mostly monthly rentals all the hookups worked well and is close to everything and was cheaper than most of the others Would stay again for the convenience

Cannot say enough nice things about this RV Park and the people. Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. I came from Phoenix to buy 2024 L’air Trillium 1300 camper in North Port, Florida. My life long friend Lisa came with me from Kentucky. We had wonderful, friendly and beyond helpful neighbors. We met so many other nice people throughout the park. Our intention was to stay one night and ended up staying 4. Had site 36 and it backed up to the water. It was just perfect. The weather was amazing. I’ll definitely be back. Funny story, Fran the activity director invited us to Renaissance Night at the club house. I even won a cool hat. We bought a cake at Publix, showed up to Pioneer night instead. I don’t have a poker face. Had great food and enjoyed ourselves. They have a nice clubhouse, 4 was

DO NOT BOOK HERE! It’s a shame I have to give a star! This is more of a RESIDENTIAL campers ground, not a vacation RV resort worthy of $85 a night !! BTW , we booked online while on the road for 2 nights to do the nearby warm springs park, due to the sketchy residents and rundown buildings lived in on all sides of our crummy site, we left even though they refused to refund our money. Yes it was THAT BAD!! I COULD NOT see us resting easy in a “campground” like this. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!
