My Place Suites

This place is horrible. Weird smell, loud with dogs barking, etc. and the owner is beyond nasty and rude. I do not believe the good reviews. She comes across as a very shady person.

Cozy little place to stay that's close to restaurants and small local shops. We were greeted by Seth when we checked in. He was very friendly and walked us to our room and gave us a quick overview. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen, but we were only there for the night so didn't use it. They also have a nice cooking area in the middle of the property with a grill, outdoor sink, and big table.

Positive: Nice clean room and very comfortable beds. The kitchen space was quite small but was functional enough to prep quick meals at the end of the day. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Negative: Could use a few more utensils, like knives and other kitchen items. Having a few more spices in the cabinet would be good too.

From the outside, My Place Suites looks like a motel from the 1950s on Route 66. However, inside the rooms are great. We had the suite with the kitchen. This gave us a separate bedroom. While we ended up doing no cooking, everything was there if we wanted to. ||The bed is HUGE and comfortable. Bathroom is fine. The whole suite was very clean; absolutely zero dust and this town is a bit dusty.||I wish I remember the hosts name. Really nice kid who made sure we got in okay, knew how to work the shower, etc.||The only thing that is a slight challenge is the small parking lot. With cowboys staying at the hotel, everyone has a truck or something big. We ended up in the evening just parking on the street right next to the hotel. Great quaint motel, room offers a kitchenette, typical bathroom, comfortable beds, cold air conditioning. It just what is needed for a couple days exploring Wickenburg. Staff and owners were great and very welcoming. Would stay here again if we are ever back in town.
