My Place Hotel-Randolph, VT

The staff in this hotel went INTO my room and packed up my things in the middle of my stay. This was an error completely on their end and they acted like I was the problem. I’m at a loss for words as to how rude and disrespectful the front desk staff was. I was here visiting friends and I had to make two separate reservations with the hotel one for Friday one for Saturday as they were very booked. My card was charged for both rooms ahead of time.  When I checked in, I explained to the front desk person, and she told me she made sure that the reservation was made into one and that I could stay in the same room for the whole weekend – no problem (she was very nice). Clean, adequate but seemed overpriced for large room with basic furnishings. There was a kitchen with full size refrig (!), but deceptively, kitchen useless without renting their pots or pans! Looked over parking lot. "breakfast available" but costs about $8-10 for getting a frozen packet (sausage or pancake) to microwave in your room with plastic ware. Also, no room cleaning unless there for 4 days!

I will begin this by saying, i did not book a stay at this hotel. I am not a "Karen" and I've never left a review anywhere positive or negative; but i felt this deserved some recognition. I tried very hard to reserve a block of rooms at this hotel for an upcoming event of mine. However after being completely unable to get ahold of someone that could complete this task for me, I gave up. This was after repeated phone calls for 4 days, followed by me spending 45 minutes standing in the lobby (which smelled of B.O. and was full of hotel staff) waiting on the manager in the other room that I have repeatedly been unable to get ahold of. Would've given 5 stars if they offered breakfast, but everything else was great! Complimentary coffee 24/7. Conveniently located about an hr from popular snowboarding places and not overcrowded, specifically Mt stowe and cochran. Parking was easy and there's a cute gas station up the road called "The Barn." Linens and towels smelt clean. Would stay again!

This place is new and clean. Full sized fridge and stove top in room. Comfortable and quiet. I travel to this area several times a year, and this will be my new go to hotel. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning.
