Lake Champagne Campground

My first seasonal camper experience here. It's a true escape—peaceful mornings with bird song, quiet evenings around the fire pit, with a big night sky. The campground is maintained well, with friendly campers. Is great dog park! It's the perfect place to relax and recharge, and the sense of community among the long-term campers is wonderful.

If you are looking for a quiet piece of heaven, look no further. Lake Champagne rv resort is the nicest I have stayed at. We came from Kentucky for fall foliage. The leaves weren’t cooperating but our campsite was awesome. It is the perfect location to go 2 hours in any direction and see anything from the Salem witch experience to climbing to the top of mt Mansfield. Loved the all grass sites and the wonderful places to walk the dog. The hayfield was our favorite. Awesome awesome awesome.

Second trip to VT to visit family - second time staying at Lake Champagne Resort! So beautiful and clean - best bathrooms I have ever seen in almost 30 years in camping! Sites are close, yet everyone respects quiet time. We were there during the week and the sites closest to us were empty - but there was a party at the shelter and we could not hear it. Will definitely stay again!

Lake Champagne RV PARK was a great place to stay. The people were very nice, it was very conveniently located near the interstate but you don't know it in the park because it is very quiet. Facilities are very clean. Very convenient to Montpelier and Stowe.

I am in a bit of a quandary with this review. They deserve a 5 star review. Yet if the word gets out I may not be able to book my favorite campground or site anymore. Seriously, this is an amazing campground. We have been coming here since 2018. If you are looking for a quiet, well maintained, peaceful place to stay with a great view this is the place for you. You will be 5 minutes off the interstate, 30 minutes from Montpellier and Quechee, and 60 minutes from Burlington. Also Randolph has a nice little downtown with all your essential needs. If you like to make day trips while camping this is the place for you. There is an endless supply of shopping, sightseeing, breweries, and distilleries within driving distance. We look forward to our trips every year and can't wait for the next one.
