My Place Hotel-Marion, OH

The room was spotless and quite comfortable. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants. It was great that they have a kitchenette. However, there isn't any pots, pans, dishes, cups or flatware, not even paper plates & plastic ware. So even if you have leftovers from a restaurant, there is no way to heat it up in the microwave. I loved that they were pet friendly. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived so I walked around looking for someone so I could check in. It was about 10-15 minutes before someone showed up. Overall, I would stay again but I would bring the needed items for the kitchen, at least enough to warm up left overs. Thank you for a pleasant stay & your rewards program.

Come here when in town as it’s reasonably priced , nice quiet location near shopping and places to eat. The rooms are always clean with the amenities you would want other than poor choices of TV channels . They could have more than 2 handicap parking places . They are extended stay so they also have a picnic area with grill and gas and it’s covered. They are dog friendly and have plenty of space to walk your dogs . How they keep this place clean with the work crews who stay here is amazing as I have seen other hotels go downhill with how hard work crews are on rooms and the lobbies

My room smelled like pets. I called the front desk and asked if there was a pet-free room available. I was told that pets can't be turned away and so there may have been pets in any of the rooms. I was asked if I wanted the carpet sprayed with an oil that eliminates odors. I opted for a new room, however, it smells nauseous as well.||When I go to a hotel I ask for a room that has not had smokers I am accommodated. Seems like this hotel descriminates against guests who want clean air and a non-soiled carpet that has been sprayed with an odor reducing oil.||Non pet owners have rights too.||I won't be back.

Positive: The hotel was relatively new and it was very clean. Negative: The only seating in the room was a desk chair.

My mother, grandmother, and I stayed at My Place in Marion recently. We loved the cozy, clean vibe, as well as plethora of in-room amenities (i.e. recliner, ice maker, stovetop, garbage disposal, etc). ||||We will definitely stay here in the future!
