My Place Hotel-Dahlgren/King George, VA

This was our first experience with My Place Hotels, but it won’t likely be our last. The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly and very efficient. The hotel was clean and well kept. The location was ideal for visiting historical sites, shopping and restaurants.

we stay here every year on our way to Florida. I call the front desk directly and speak with Robin, my friend. This year our stay was great. the bed was so comfy and the sheets excellent.

Our first stay, but definitely not our last. We had a clean, quiet room that was comfortable and met all of our needs. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Location was ideal for privacy, but also within walking distance to shopping, spa and a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Positive: The staff was very kind and helpful, the hotel was extremely clean, and we enjoyed the full size fridge with ice maker in the hotel room! Negative: All of our pillows were hard because they packed down easily. That caused some bad neck pain for us both.

Due to the forecast of the nor’easter, I live on the waterfront and the forecast was calling for 75MPH winds. I searched at least 25 pet friendly hotels where I could stay with foster pets. Majority of these hotels, the front desk/receptionist were extremely rude and uncaring. I contacted My Place Hotel in Dahlgren and the ladies at the front desk and the manager were friendly, kind, gracious and willing to help me….a senior citizen foster pet mom. Words cannot express my appreciation for all their help and kindness! Although the nor’easter was down graded to a manageable 30MPH winds, I cancelled my reservation. The staff at this hotel was a blessing in my time of need. Thank you!
