Prefer to stay here while in town visiting daughter who attends MSU. Very affordable! Family who owns is attentive when checking in and kind. Clean rooms and bathrooms. If you are sensitive to noise, ask to stay further away from road. Simple bedding, bring a blanket if you like to wrap up. Breakfast is simple, and is a pass for us, go to Rudy’s on the square (great food and very affordable!) If u are looking for affordability and cleanliness, stay here. If you are looking for amenities, don’t. We enjoy our stays!

I made a reservation for a room as I was in town on family business, and remembered how much I liked the place from a few years ago. Nothing has changed. The room is clean, the bed comfortable, the retro vibe is just too cool and well maintained, as like last time, they still offer real toilet paper, not fine grit sandpaper. The continental breakfast s very nice, and for half the price of one of the chains near the stadium and The Bank (iykyk), this is one of the Last True Bargains. As the family business continues, I will be staying here again.

The front desk staff is super friendly, and my room came equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and a heating/air unit (which thankfully works—haha!). There’s also a small table with two chairs if you want to bring dinner back to the room, plus a coffee maker, plenty of drawer and closet space, and even a luggage holder. Just note: there aren’t any hangers provided, so if you like to hang up clothes, you’ll want to bring your own. Positive: Location was super close to hospital. Negative: No room service. When placed placard on door, no service; bed making, towels, garbage, toilet paper. Told clerk, he asked what kind of service I expected. YOU are a hotel! I shouldn?t have to ask for these things! Won?t stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a quaint vibe. The artwork was tasteful and the quilted chair pads were a nice touch. The mattress was very firm (I liked that) and pillows were comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Continental breakfast was exactly as advertised. The only negative, trash was not emptied but that is minor. We will definitely stay here again.
