Muir Lodge Motel Martinez

Nice little affordable Patel Motel near the courts, ADA office, etc. If you are in town for business, it's a nice place to stay with a clean if small pool and totally renovated rooms. Don't know about the experiences' of others but the sound level was perfectly fine when I was there. Absolutely really lovely staff. Not your average 'Patel Motel'!

Muir Lodge Motel is a nostalgic roadside motel that could be straight out of the 50s from the outside. Our room, however, was modern, carefully renovated and very well maintained. With daily maid service and comfortable amenities, it served our needs very well throughout our 5 night stay. We felt very safe and comfortable. The owner was proactive for our late night check-in and greeted us personally despite the late hour. We will definitely stay again.

We spent 3 nights here. It has a classic exterior with a nicely updated interior. Our room was very clean. We liked the location. The closest hotel to downtown Martinez and close to the John Muir house. There is some road noise but really of that bad. Running the fan drowned it out. Would stay here again.

Beautifully clean room with a lot of nice lighting and a decent sized bathtub and shower combo. Spacious and inviting. Will love to stay here again (:

I'm surprised their limited Mathematics skills weren't a problem when they were checking in. Paying for things involves managing numbers, fees and such. Anyway, here's my review. ] It's got a classic motel exterior with a beautiful vintage neon sign, but the interior is very modern with wood flooring and furniture. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a reasonably priced motel not only immaculately clean but very comfortable and stocked with everything you'd need for coffee or tea and some individually wrapped pastries to go with it.
