Muddy Creek Cabins

Anniversary weekend. Pick up some elk steaks from Middle Park Meat Market just south of Kremling before you get to town and you won’t regret it!

We needed an overnight on our way from Leadville to estes Park and tried these cabins based on TA reviews. We were not disappointed. The cabins are modern rustic log cabins located on outskirts of town, on a large piece of property. We stayed in cabin 1 with one queen and two twins. It had minimal kitchen facilities/space but it was sufficient for two and a short stay. The electric heat worked well and the cabin was extremely quiet. The beds were soft the bedding was great. We'll definitely stay here again.

An excellent place for a weekend getaway just outside of Kremmling, Colorado. Very clean and pristine with a large covered pavilion area complete with electricity. Perfect for keeping food warm for our potlucks. Then a nice large fire in the fire pit after dinner gazing at the stars at night. I removed one star because there is no way to make reservations at this time for some reason and it is very concerning. My group usually goes up every summer, but can't get through to make reservations presently.

The location of the cabins is great, off the road and quiet. A mountain was behind the cabin. The staff was friendly. The cabin was spacious and rustic, with plenty of room. The kitchen had many items but lacked some things that would be necessary to help prepare a meal, like a vegetable peeler, for instance; it was somewhat understocked. The BBQ grill was great. The cabin really was lovely. But the bed was absolutely terrible. We rolled into the middle. And the pillows were like rocks. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

Excellent little cabin just off the main drag, backing to picturesque open space and within walking distance to The Dean West- also excellent. Usually, my family and I are disappointed with the cleanliness and privacy of most cabins, but Muddy Creek did not disappoint!! Incredibly clean and quiet, we woke up feeling refreshed and not on the verge of an allergy attack due to dust. No mold or mildew in the bathroom and the kitchenette was well appointed. They provided a coffee pot, so if you are particular about your morning brew bring your own coffee. Parking is right next to your cabin, so it is easy to unload/load your vehicle.
