Latigo Ranch

Latigo Ranch is amazing. Randy and Lisa George are the owners and makevyou feel like part of the family. Hannah, their daughter is the Barn Boss and she will pick the perfect horse for you. Spencer and Amanda run the kitchen and it is the best food i have ever eaten! They cater to all (vegan, vegetarian, meat eaters, specific dietary needs, etc. ). The cabins are immaculate, cozy and a great home away from home. The first day all strangers become friends. There is always something to do..hiking, riding, Eating, swimming, dancing, fishing, storytelling. The sights are magnificent! The staff professional, fun, caring and attentive. This is my second time there and I will return if possible the same time next year.

This truly is a once in a lifetime trip & a must. The views are breathtaking, staff are so so kind & caring . Its like a family away from home. The food is amazing & they have snacks non stop for everyone. My kids loved it especially home made carmel corn in cabins. The cabins furnish everything , even things you wouldn't think of . ||My kids were in heaven all week & they are 14 &19, so there is something for everyone & non stop activities and fun. If you love the outdoors & horses, this is the trip for you . We loved it & hope to go back one day .

The rooms were very comfortable. There were a few floor stains in our cabin but that’s just from everyone walking in and out. You get to meet many of the wranglers and staff (which are the most kindest people I have ever met) and they help you pick a horse that is best for you. The food was absolutely outstanding, kids choices are for sure an option. Many opportunities to Walk, Trott, and Lope. If you live in the Midwest, it is a two day drive, but it is for sure worth every second of it. You also have the choice Friday morning to water raft with Downstream Adventures (also includes hot springs and cliff jumping while rafting), or to help roundup cows for team pinning in the afternoon. Second time at Latigo, this time we brought the extended family including kids and grandkids, ages 1 1/2 thru 70's. Randy and Lisa made the reservations easy to navigate, Great wranglers and all staff. The grandkids, all <12, learned to ride, rope and wrangle. The food was excellent as usual; had my first yakburger and yak fillet. If you like wide open vistas and personal attention, don't pass up Latigo. The staff accommodated almost any request. The ranch has a true family feel. We will be back. Both granddaughters now want horses!

The George family has a genuine gift of hospitality to give all who come to visit. Everything is done with excellence and there is something for everyone. The food is amazing! It was my first time learning how to crack a whip and fly fish. We really enjoyed a night hike to look at the stars without the light pollution of the city. The wranglers are so friendly and taught us so much about horse riding. Country line dancing was a blast too!! The whole staff is focused on your well-being and pays attention to detail. They overheard one of the guests saying they wish they could get the recipe for one of the dishes, and the next meal, the recipe was at her place at the table. You will love this place because it is fueled by love.
