Mt. Morris Resort Motel

I personally love this place it's very beautiful there and if I could live there all year round I diffently would I would even work for the wonderful people to me it just brings back memories from a long time ago

I had already booked the Shabby Shack in Plainfield, WI on Airbnb when I suddenly rec'd a cancelation notice with no explanation or apology from the owner, they even took themselves off Airbnb so I couldn't write a negative review & then brought themselves back up after so they could continue to rent out their house. I now had to scramble to find somewhere to stay in WI, in the prime time of summer in order to go to my niece's wedding. I searched the internet & found this place, it looked nice, had a decent review, was close to the wedding, so I thought why not & gave it a try. I called up Randy & all was good, thankfully he still had a room & he set us up. The room was clean, it was quiet there & was more than enough space for my husband & I. We wanted to visit my friend's sister and her family in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, and there are not a lot of places to stay in that area, so we found the Mt. Morris Resort Motel and it worked out great for us. Very simple, kind of like a hunters' camp lodging - basic room with kitchenette and small bathroom. Bed was okay, the place was clean. It's kind of out in the middle of the wilderness so it's quiet and peaceful and tranquil. WiFi was acceptable and the rates were reasonable. We will probably stay there again next time we visit the sister.

Kind of shady some of the stories that you hear about the place, but I've dealt with people that have lived there as well as the owners. For my gathering it's basically a place to start life over again. Small town pretty quiet.
